Modified Data - cannot join servers

Hey All,

 

I have been playing DAYZ for a week with no major problems. Until last night, I was playing for a bout 2 hours and then suddenly whilst trying to join onto a different server I get the following error message:

 

"NAME uses modified data file - C:\Users\"NAME"\Appdata\local\DayZ\MPMissionsCache\__cur_mp.pbo"

 

I have tried deleting the file and trying again. The same problem occurs. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and I am able to join one server but no more after that. Currently I can play if I uninstall and reinstall each time and if I just stay on the same server for the time I play.
 

I have tried deleting the "MPMissionsCache" folder and validating the files on steam, but still no look.

Anyone got any ideas or is this just a defect with the game?

Did you try to verify your game cache?

Yeah I tried that, Sorry I should have being more clear when I mentioned the files I validated. But I have already tried that. :(
