any limit to berries per bush?

Now that I've discovered berry gathering, there's no excuse for starving.  But what I can't figure out is when it seems like I'm unable to find them on a bush that was for a time giving up berries, is that because it has run out or is just bad luck?  Is there a limit to the number of berries a bush has?

I would think there'd be a limit. If there isn't already, there should be. Likewise, berries shouldn't fill you up a whole lot. They should be enough to keep you going, not bring you up to 100%.

 

I have yet to stumble across a berry-yielding bush. Partially because I haven't really needed to. But, question, is harvesting berries a menu option or does it just show up when you're in the inventory screen as normal loot would?

you have to find the right type of bush and press 'f' on it, there is no prompt to pick berries yet. They will randomly show up in your inventory.

The red berries (from the reddish bushes) are the ones that won't poison you.

 

Edit: Also, we can't see the berries on the bushes yet, you just have to find the right type of bush and press 'f' in em to search.

There is no limit to how many time you can pick a single bush which is kinda silly imo, I'm hoping that gets tweaked because you can sit beside a single bush and pick it without having to move/be at risk.
