brazorf 46 Posted March 24, 2014 I've just been shot, on my legs, and fell unconscious. I was about to hit "respawn", whenmy character stood up, vision black and white. I tried to apply some bandages, then i fell unconscious again...and then wake up again. My clothes and stuff were ruined on my legs, but the rest of my inventory was full and untouched. Now, 1) the guy who shot me used a defibrillator on me2) in some case you can auto recover from unconsciousness?
Aamunkajo 110 Posted March 24, 2014 If you go unconscious it takes about 1-3min to "wake up". Atleast for me and my friends ;).
brazorf 46 Posted March 24, 2014 Lol, seems like i missed something important here. So i've got two more questions - i injected an epi pen, just to be sure not to fall again. did i waste it?- how to tell a dead enemy from an unconscious one?
lykk 48 Posted March 24, 2014 You will recover after a while unconscious. Time depends, however i've experienced 10 minute unconsciousness before i woke up. Normally you need get get a defib on you, OR Epi-pen & saline bag.

To be sure if the person is really dead or just unconscious you can look at him and scroll with your mouse. If the "hide body" is shown, hes definitely dead. Cute Carl Grimes 84 Posted March 24, 2014 It is the shock that put you down, it can take a few seconds for you to wake up. Use epi pen on your friends if they are in shock.
guppy22143 1081 Posted March 24, 2014 Alright, all these are vague descriptions of the unconsciousness phenomena. The medic shall take over from here. ;DFirst of all, unconsciousness has several different causes. The most common is blood loss. When your blood level drops to 200, you will be knocked unconscious. You will continue to bleed, unless bandaged. If you are bandaged, energized and hydrated, you will regenerate your own blood and wake up after aprox. 20 min - 1 hour of unconsciousness. If you are given saline, it will wake you up, due to increase in blood level. The second type of unconsciousness is shock. When your shock levels (gained from taking damage) goes above your blood levels, you are knocked unconscious. You should wake up quickly in this situation, as shock levels reduce naturally. Epinephrine should also wake you up, possibly a defib but I have not tested that yet.Hope that clears things up! :D
brazorf 46 Posted March 24, 2014 Ok, so i think i were definitely knocked out by shock (wonder why he didnt finish me). What is not clear to me, is whether it makes sense using an epi pen on myself, after recover.

No you should absolutely not use it on yourself when awake. It's used by a friend to be applied on you when "unconscious". charliepow 100 Posted March 25, 2014 If you went unconscious because of blood loss, you'll be down until you either bleed out or someone epi-pens you or bandages you, and you regain enough blood to get past the consciousness threshold. This is why it's always a good idea to be fully hydrated and energized where possible. If your shock level surpasses your blood level, you'll go unconscious (hits to the head seem to do this easily.) Once your shock value is lower than your blood again, you will wake up. Shock decreases relatively quickly. This is how it worked since I last checked but I could be wrong.
