Graphics Bug maybe?

I have been experiencing some really bizarre graphics bug, I am presuming is a bug anyway.

 

In the very first image you will see what it is like after I have been playing for roughly 30, 40 min or in less I am hit by a zombie I will get this blurring just completely out of nowhere.

In the second image you will notice now everything is back to normal and how it was before and how did I manage to get it back to looking nice and sharp?.

All I did was Esc>Video and then out of nowhere poof my screen is back to normal.

I'm just wondering if anybody else has experienced anything like this and how you managed to get around it.

yea its a well known bug that's been in forever, the fix is well known aswell, you seem to havae found it by chance :)
