Personally I like the Sporter .22 because I own one myself and I feel like in a zombie apocalypse situation that would be the gun I would have to start with. On second point I like the Amphibia because of it's quiet sound and also it just has a good personal feel.

Interesting, the people actually really prefer the SKS more than the M4A1. If they understood the poll and the given answers right. And by much less surprise, the Mosin is the most favoured weapon by you guys ;)

Though I ask myself, this would make sense if it kills with one shot and I read sometimes it doesn't (talking of bodyhits).

So without attachments and not killed with one shot, why is it prefered by so many people o.o

And the SKS, I also think it's a pretty fine gun.

I'd probably take the SkS as my primary if I was a freshie primarily to go through the cities. I like it because it's the gun I'm most successful with (3 kills in 1 day) and most combat is within it's effective range. Toss on a PU scope and it's something to fear for such a simple gun. Though a Pristine MAGPUL M4A1 >.> can't quite say she's seen any combat yet but I'm certain with my RDS or ACOG I'll end up doing well in CQB or medium range.

I'd go with the M4 in any situation where I didn't have to conceal the weapon, actually. It's way more accurate than any other gun on the list (yeah, I know it's not in the game, but in real life it's noticeably more accurate than the Mosin). If I had to carry the gun all day, or conceal it, I'd go with the CZ-75, simply because I have a clone of it and know I can shoot well with it.

I guess it depends on whether we're talking in the game or in real life. In the game, I take the SKS over the M4 every time. In real life, there's no way I'd trade an M4 for a rickety old russian rifle.

My gun of choice if it were included would be a

 

Remington 700  chambered in .223 or .308 with a harris bipod mounted on that would be a 10x mil dot scope with mil/mil turrets with a maximum elevation of 30 mils
