Has anyone tried running the game with the new Nvidia 800M series?

Recommended Posts

Hi. :)

I want to play the SA with a laptop that includes an 880M GPU. It's good enough to play Battlefield 4 ultra 1920x1080, but it's been in my experience that even the greatest of GPUs sometimes just nosedive as soon as ArmA 2/3/SA are played. The series is new-released this month-with MSI, Razer, Gigabyte, Lenovo, and the other usual brands shipping laptops including it.

I would include in the "Can I Run It?" thread, but it's a rather specific question about the 800's functionality in general. With it being so new, is anyone having driver troubles, etc?

I think he would rather brag ^

AsOiX kind of answered for me... I'm planning to get a GT70 "Dominator" with a 880M, but it's a really iffy "Planning" and if someone can convince me that for some unforseen reason the 880M is secretly the worst graphics card in the world and et cetera, I'll adjust my plants for something with a 780M.
