post-patch: worse performance in cities, better performance in the countryside ?

anyone else have this weird "issue"?

 

i have incredibly worse performance in cities (tested cherno and chapevsk) but better performance in the countryside after the patch. playing stable btw

Yep I saw the exact same thing last night.  Performance got worse in the cities after the newest patch but were good out in the coutryside

Can't confirm, went to Chernogorsk today and it was quite smooth (As bad fps as usual of course ^^)

most likely down to the zombie respawning thing, as in country side there are hardly ever zeds to kill or respawn, as soon as you hit areas of zed populace the respawning mechanism will be ready to work more often as zeds enter your radius of effect? just a guess but quite plausible
