Session lost

So, bought the game today, have played max 5 min on any server I tried before getting disconnected. Is this normal? In that case it seems pointless.

It is currently broken. A hotfix will be coming out shortly today, we hope. As of now, I would not play the game b/c it is unplayable..

Yea, a lot of people have been having trouble just connecting/staying connected. Give it time...

Last night I played for an hour and suddenly got the session lost message...Weird thing was that my steam then downloaded a quick update for DayZ and suddenly I no longer got the random, nonstop zombie noises.

Welcome to Dayz, unfortunately you have bought the game after a recent patch which has caused a few issues for a lot of us...

We're hoping for a fix later today so keep your eye on the forums for news..

There is a section on here called " Dev Tracker " does give out good information of what is going on. Just a warning the search for this forum, is abit broke at the moment.

Looks like the hot fix will not be released until tomorrow now, due to the Devs testing it on experimental first..

It's just a server problem I think just wait a day or two and it should be working again :) or you could restart your router maybe it's your connection are you rubberbanding?
