DaLexy 0 Posted March 20, 2014 From the comments there on youtube, this should work with every keyboard, not bound to roccat ones. Will give it a try later ^^

Demonica 311 Posted March 20, 2014 That sounds actually pretty good, but you still have to use your mouse / computer for direction (where he runs). Auto Run sounds nice, but shouldn't there be an auto-run option in the game itself? like double tap W or something? I'm German, so luckily I got the gist of it, but it doesn't wanna make me scream and yell for the developer to shut up and take my money... Even if it's free... But Global chat? WTF did I miss there? Is there a global chat function, really?
The_Monk 320 Posted March 20, 2014 The walkie talkies give you a kind of global chat. Maybe it is referring to that.

The_Monk 320 Posted March 20, 2014 If you stick a 9V in a walkie talkie, you get 5? global channels you can switch between.
Demonica 311 Posted March 20, 2014 Wow, never knew that... Then again, I'd love to have the mod global chat, where all the kiddies go "Hey, where are you, I'll pick you up" and "Friendly at Balota?" But having this to require a walkie talkie does not make me happy. I don't need it that bad, I guess ^^
The_Monk 320 Posted March 20, 2014 There are always a few in fire stations. I grab one whenever I can, very rarely hear anything though because most people haven't figured it out yet, and most people that find them are like me and just listen in.
XUL92 10 Posted March 20, 2014 On the subject of a global chat, there is a way to do (which I do not know). Twice I've been on a server where people were playing music through global, both times it scared the crap out of it.& no for anyone thinking they were close by, I was running through the woods on an experimental server (on Tuesday) right after they came back up and the music sounded like it was coming from my desktop or something, but it was definetly in game. But back on topic; I like the sound of this app, even though I speak no German (got the gist of it from other replies).
The_Monk 320 Posted March 20, 2014 Also, don't leave them on if you're worried about someone around. Other people can hear voices/read chat that comes through radio. It also distorts over range.
zeroy 240 Posted March 20, 2014 If you stick a 9V in a walkie talkie, you get 5? global channels you can switch between. I thought even those channels were limited to a radius?
The_Monk 320 Posted March 20, 2014 I thought even those channels were limited to a radius? They distort the further away you are. I was speaking clearly with someone at NEAF and I was in Solnichny. They have a few kms range at least.
