Sawnek 12 Posted March 23, 2014 Nope, not a spoiler for the TV series because the TV show has passed the part where it has happened in the comics, not to mention there have been many amputations already on the show and doing anymore would just be a little stale ("Oh, another character has lost a limb..."). Merle taking his own hand off in season one would most likely be the equivalent to the spoiler mentioned in the OP, Merle wasn't in the comics by the way. With that being said, I could imagine amputations being used to torture unfortunate survivors.
