Bring back canteen or alternatively implement drinking from a body of water directly

I am a new player and so far its been pretty fun.

Seeing the videos online on I was really looking forward to spawning with my kit (beans, canteen, bandage, etc) and was dislightened to find that I only had a bandage, flash light and some painkillers.

I thought, OK, I guess I am gonna have to hump water holes until I can find a canteen, no worries mate... Then I was horrified to find out I can't drink water from ANY body of water.

Thus far all but one death was related to water (either dehydrating and dying or panicing when it gets too low and I start to loose blood and I do something stupid like doing a rambo into a building full of zombie, etc) (The one that was not water related was PvP related, a Lovely gentleman decided to put a slug in my head)

My suggestions are:

- Implement means of drinking water from a body of water and from water fountains.

- And/or Allow the reuse of containers (such as vodca, bottles, etc) to consume water

- And/or Add the canteen back to the standard load out

The drinking water from a body of water should be a quick implement (coming from someone like me who doesn't know how the ArmA modding system works) -> start, play picking up animation, increment hydration counter to max, sleep for x time period, end

Other than that I love the game, people whinge about no weapons, its called being tact and picking your actions carefully.

A firearm would make life easier in some retrospects, but would make it harder in others so I am happy to see it not return to first spawn loadout.

Agreed, makes no sense that we can't drink directly from water sources.

Re-adding the canteen is another deal, but I think they should addAction (scroll wheel) the possibility to drink straight from the lake/pond/well etc.
