Cannot hit with my axe

Hi,

I have currently a problem to use my melee weapon such as the firefighter axe.

Pushing the left mouse button does not lead to the hitting process.

Nothing happens.

 

Shooting the gun is no problem.

 

Any idea about that?

press space to rise the axe. then you can hit. goes with all melee weapons after the patch.
