Experimental Servers down some longer...?

So, according to the Devs (or one of them anyway) our beloved experimental servers are still down today. They said something about Hive data, but also that some map changes may be made.

Does that mean we can expect even more new towns? Rock formations?

 

I apologize since my knowledge about hives etc. doesn't even reach a basic status:

 

What is it they are doing except for looking at certain data? Are they changing / improving anything?

 

Now that I got used to the stable server again I don't mind much, but I do miss them very much.

 

Even the UK / German servers seem to be down now (at least for me)...

 

Someone please tell me it'll all be okay and hand me a kleenex or two :-/
