The_Soviet1 12 Posted March 16, 2014 It would be cool to see more gas masks in the game for survivors to wear. For example the Soviet GP-5 gas mask would spawn more commonly due to it being a civilian mask, while the Czech M-10 gas mask that is currently in the game to be more rare due to it being a military mask. Hopefully masks such as the GP-7, and others masks might also be added. It would also be cool if filters for gas masks were added, so that the gas mask is useless without the filters which have to be found, and it would be harder to find the right filter due to each mask having different filter types. There is really no use for gas masks at this time as a valued item because they don't do anything but cover your face. I wear a gas mask, although i currently have it off, i am going full black. + I am waiting for spray painting ballistic helmets. I always think it's so stupid when people complain about ideas like these and go "HURR AESTHETICS", i mean why the hell do we have canvas pants then? The only thing i would disagree on is the NATO masks, the map in located in Eastern Europe so there would be more Soviet equipment than NATO, don't get me wrong I love the design of the NATO masks (I personally collect military equipment and gas masks due to serving in the military) especially the new M50, but it just wouldn't look or feel right in the game. Yes that happens to a lot of people, but in real life everyone should be scared of all gas masks due to the what its used for.
