How you can fix crashing after moments of joining server

Hello everyone,

 

I know a lot of you and including myself at the time have a problem with game crashing. For most of you it happens after you join a server. After seconds even moments of joining any server you join it crashes on you. I have found a fix on this so you will be able to play again.

 

Here is what you got to do:

 

Start

in search type %localappdata%   push enter

Find a folder named DayZ and delete it.

 

Try to run DayZ and it should be fixed!

 

I'm not exactly sure why this helps it but it works. For almost a week I couldn't play because I would just crash after about 10 seconds of joining a server. I think this will help for most of you that crash in DayZ.

it works because it forces steam to re-download and apply the latest battleye security.

 

just delete battleye folder and not the whole dayz folder.

I tried this though and it still didn't work. I had to delete that folder for it to work for me.
