Situation #1:

 My friend shot him in the head multiple times and then shot him again and he still didn't go down.

 

Situation #2:

A few days ago, I walked up on someone searching a body, He grabbed the gun off the body so I shot him.

I shot him in the face up to 5x while he was crouching (he didn't go unconscious) then he got out of crouching and ran.

Then he ran behind a wall and pulled out a fireaxe. (I was "Healthy" and wearing a ballistic helmet Before all of this.)

He ran towards me and I shot him many more times.

He hit me once and I died instantly.

I ended up using 45 of a 60 round mag (I came back and looted my body)

 

Situation #3:

My friend saw a random person (I was up a hill watching, with no weapon)

He aimed his mosin at him and told him to back off.

The person shot my friend killing him instantly.

My friend respawned in solnichney (he was killed in elektro)

(The rest is 2nd hand information I was not there, yet he did die again because he got an elektro spawn afterwards)

As soon as my friend spawned he heard a voice say "I bet you regret aiming that mosin at me" and he was shot dead.

A hacker? Using teleport powers?

Those are troubling.

 

When I think about all the combinations of substandard pc's and substandard internet connections, working in the feedback loop that is DayZ? Who fucking knows?

 

I do know this. Hackers always "made" themselves in the mod. They would either gloat or be overly conspicuous or be overly defensive, what have you. They had tells.

Situation 2: probably desync or bad aim, but I can't believe it cause there's no video

Pretty sure there's no godmode hack atm. Only able to see players names and use scripts to run fast (teleport)

Well I have gotten punched unconscious while the guy was 10 meters away, so anything can happen when there is server desync.

I can hear a M4 gunshot at 500m, so if it's a Mosin, they will hear it.

mosin bullets are supersonic, the bullet hits you before you can hear it.

 

But i dont think a body show with a mosin should be a 1 hit kill, even in point blank range.

 

There should be different types of ammunition, like soft points, hollow points, that should do more damage, but a 7.62 bullet wont kill in one shot unless you hit the head or heart.

i have had number 1, 2 mosin shots to the back of the guys head, he turns around, 3rd shot to his chest area.. 4th shot to his face.. and then im the one thats dead. all in the top of the firestation just him and me in the server. he was sitting still, saw blood splatter on first 2 shots, 3rd shot he did start bleeding.. so im pretty damn sure i did not miss

 

number 3.. i was on a server with my friends, we killed 7 people on sniper hill (5 of witch were my kills), after that i herd like 8 shotgun shots in a continuous rate of fire without any pauses to reload and i died (so maybe 4 guys with shotguns and great timing?..)

 

i respawned, stayed on the server and decided to add the other people still on the server to steam, so i can warn them about said hacker, and they can leave gear intact.

 

I added the first person, he had a clantag and a mate so it seemed efficient to warn him first since he could warn his mate, 2 seconds later.. again those shotgun shots and im dead.. the person i added on steam was running a "Non steam game" of DayZ... pretty obvious... duh

and yes my steam name is thesame as my ingame name...

 

maybe they should just give out hacks with DayZ, to level the playingfield sort of speak (since their anti cheat attempts seem to be not doing anything)
