how to add more realism

Recommended Posts

Ok guys don't turn this into a thread full of whining kids blaming each other. This is just an idea to add some realism. In real life you have consequences for doing dangerous things. Like if you die you die. There's no coming back. But obviously this is a game. If you could only play once then nobody would play right? But rocket is striving for the most realistic zombie game ever. So why not make it so if you die for any reason the main server starts a timer that won't let you play for say 24 hrs or hell even a week. That way people will think twice before doing something that they would normally do in a regular game when they can just respawn if they die. Its not.like people can get pissed, they didn't pay for the mod did they. Let me know what you guys think I think its a great idea.

This is a bad idea. Why would you alienate your user base like this? People will just stop playing if they have to wait a week between spawn times. Sometimes you die with no fault of your own so why would you be punished for it? No thanks.

If you want to add more realism.. Add pooping. My character eats all the time but he never has to poop.

Rocket wants realism. How is any game realistic if you can die and 5 seconds later be looting your own dead body. And if you die for no reason then deal with it its still an alpha. Eventually you won't be able to use that excuse for dieing.
