Anyone frequent Atlanta 11 and see a chopper?

I've been checking all of the spawns regularly and haven't seen a helicopter... Starting to fear that some clan has taken all of the choppers and placed them off the map somewhere which would such since this is my home server. Anybody?

you dont need to worry. if they hide them and dont use them they despawn after 7 days at least. its a measure taken by rocket to fight such moves.

There was an official response stating they have been removed from the game for now because the cause too much lag.

I believe that the actual comment was that only the original few servers had choppers, and no new servers would get them until they could solve the de-sync issues.

Thanks for the info, I've been cutting a swath through chernarus interrogating survivors brutally for chopper locations, glad I can go back to surviving peacefully
