Map border & saving vehicles outside the map

Is it possible to prevent going outside the map borders? Like, you start to loosing blood when you go past the border, or get a time before you die (like in battlefield series)... etc. Tired of seeing all the vehicles being saved ~10km beyond the map border.

They cant do this anyway as ander has set it to despawn all vehicles outside the map at random times. so no matter how often they press save the vehicle will dissappear.

Good to hear. Just saw an bunch of vehicles being hoarded behind hills beyond the border. Lame.

How random are we talking here? Every few hours or so? Days? Weeks?

Why is it random anyway? Shouldn't it just be a routine (and regular) clear up?

I was on US 41 with 5 other people last night for 8 hours and didn't see a single vehicle. We searched every town about six times and the server restarted about half way through. Still no luck.

Make the outside of map a toxic zone.

So it will slowly kill players and give them disease. It also eats tents and vehicles.
