juicebox0809 5 Posted March 13, 2014 So I had been playing DayZ SA for about 8 hours but only on servers with very little people. I was fully geared to what I thought would be sufficient to make a decent stand in this cruel cruel world of DayZ. I spawned back in on a server with 39 other players like myself. As soon as I spawned in I saw a player run into a tree close to the one I had hid myself in. I think grabbed my M4 and cautious said my first words to what I thought was a single player. I said friendly as advertised in the videos of YouTube. To my great pleasure a player stepped out of the tree and lowered his weapon and also stated he was friendly. And as did his friend. So we started to conversate and we decided we would clear the jail at the NW airfield together. Well we started to clear the jail we then proceeded to the control tower in the middle of the runway. And then the hangers. Well halfway down the hangers one of the fellows in the group began to lose connection and started to venture out to the middle of the runway so me and the other guy gaurded him so he would not be killed by those pesky bandits. Well after about 2 minutes of that my player magically lost connection and got kicked from the server. I then spawned back in the same server a few minutes later and my two friends were nowhere to be seen. I began to clear the hangers and make my way back to the firehouse and then the com tower. When I was on the stairs of the firehouse I noticed a player running straight down the runway next to the hangers. I went to the bottom floor and the big red door was open. I went prone and yelled for him to stop running and turn around. He stopped for a split second and then started running towards me again. I fired shots at him and he turned and ran into the hanger he was next to. I then proceeded out the back door of the firehouse and around the back of the hanger he went in. I got to the other side and stayed on the side of the hanger. I told the player to come out with his gun dropped and he would not be shot. But when he came out on the other side of the hanger he had the muzzle of his M4 pointed right at me. So I began to fire but to my horrible dismay I had made the worst of newb mistakes and forgot to reload. I ran out of ammo and began to back pedal to get around the back of the hanger as he started to fire and on my screen it showed you are unconscious. I began to speak to my perpetrator and stated if he had just listened we would have both made it out unscathed. But his response was that since I shot at him he put a bullet in my head and put me out of my misery. Then those dreaded words showed on my screen.
