Day Z for Arma 3

Quick question, will day z be a FREE mod for arma 3 or will we have to pay for it?

or is Day Z going to be its own seperate game.

And should i buy arma 2 now to get day z or wait for arma 3 to get the day z mod. I was also thinking of waiting for day z mod to be less buggy, and easier to join servers because i heard joining servers are hard.

Currently its unknown by the community if its going to be a free mod, downloadable content, or a standalone game. I know the goal right now is to have it as a standalone game, but again that's WAY out in the future (maybe a year or two).

Asking if you should buy ARMA just for DayZ on the forums for DayZ is only asking for biased results. In my opinion yes, I've gotten more out of my experience with the mod than I have most of the current AAA titles. However, its up to you to make the smart decision as the consumer.

Is arma 3 coming out this year? if it is then i will wait for it to be compatible

with the day z mod. if arma 3 comes out in 2 years or more then i will get

arma 2 CO now.

ARMA III has no release date set, but I'm pretty sure it is coming out next year. Possibly Q 1 or 2.

Well if its popular and i made it I would charge, but hey i like stuff- Cars Boats big houses and Holidays, So if they do change, I dont blame them..
