Unable to use items/weapons after joining a server.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, i'd use search but half the features on this forum aren't working me?

 

Anyways, immediately after joining a server and for varying intervals afterwards I am unable to draw my weapon or use any item in my inventory. I am also unable to take items. This leaves me vulnerable for the first 20 seconds to 2 minutes of my existence in the server with no way to respond to any situation that arises.

 

I'm assuming this is the delay between me and the server as it syncs....but imo it shouldn't happen this way. You should have to sync with the server BEFORE it 'spawns' you.
