Problem changing weapons?

Hello. I'm not sure if this is the most right forum to post this on, but I have a question:

When I press 1 or 2 when playing DayZ sometimes the weapon changes, sometimes it doesn't. When it does not, I try to hold 1 or 2 for a couple of seconds to see my character pull out the needed weapon. Is this a bug? Or is this only for me? How can I fix this?

Possibly lag. Check your ping.

You're not alone.

 

Not sure exactly what causes it, but I'm sure it'll get fixed in the future. (I suppose it could be lag, or a desync issue *shrug*)

 

Until then we just have to make do.
