Can I play this with Arma 2: Reinforcements?

I've tried installing / running the mod but I get an error which, according to threads I've read, suggests I haven't got the required game.

As I understand it, Arma 2: Combined Operations is Arma 2 + Operation Arrowhead, and Reinforcements contains OA as well as, I presume, the base game.

If this is not the case, could anyone tell me what I need to get (in addition to what I already have) to get the mod to run?

Try downloading ARMA 2 free at arma2.com and merge it with reinforcements.

You'd get an allround low res lite version, but I think it will work. Reinforcements is basicly just two DLCs with a lite version of operation arrowhead (no sp campaign and low res models).

Reinforcements is only BAF and PMC, it doesnt contain ArmA2 or OA, so you still need those.

You're right, I might be wrong on that. Wiki says it doesn't, but my DVD contains a folder called 'OperationArrowhead' which makes up 6 and a half gigs of the DVD, so it's rather confusing.

i have this arma edition as well and i get the .charus error when trying to launch a server but on my arma 2 reinforcements box it says the game contains : arma 2, british armed forces, private military company, and bonus content arma 2 arrowhead, so what the hell is combined operations ? is it the same thing i belive i have all the games i need to play this unless CO is its own standalone or somthing cause i can play all the above games just fine jus not dayZ,, i mean i absolutly hated arma 2 but i would love to give dayZ a try
