ZekeDerevenko 0 Posted June 24, 2012 Date/Time:6/24/2012 ; 6:23 P.M.What happened: As the title says, Almost every server that I try to connect to ends with Bad connection, My version and beta patch match..Where you were: Ir-relevant What you were doing: Trying to join a serverCurrent installed version: 1.7.1.5Server(s) that didn't allow connection: NY21, ANZ1, Seattle 41, TX1, Chicago 61Your system specs:AMD Atholon II X4 640 Processor Overclocked to 3.4GHZAMD Ati Radeon HD 5570 OC'd to a core clock of 760 *Base was 650*8GB DDR3 RAMTimeline of events before/after error: Checked for updates on DayZ, Everything was up to date, Started Game, Tried to connect to server(s), Got "Joining Game" then "Bad Connection" for every server. survivor_davey 0 Posted June 25, 2012 I am having a similar problem on a lot of servers, I hang at various points in loading, either when it switches to the generic ARMA2 loading screen right after the data-file, or after that screen when you're back in the server lobby before everything goes black. slyder73 94 Posted June 26, 2012 I'm also still getting this issue. 3/4 of all servers are X out and I run via Steam. Steam autoupdates the Arma2 game so will wait for it to do that before installing any ad hoc beta patches that seem to constantly change.All this doesn't matter anyway becuase the few servers I CAN get on, I am 23km out in the wasteland with all my gear but the backpack and compass gone.Eagerly waiting 1.7.2 and hoping that solves this so I can play again. Mishra 0 Posted July 1, 2012 I am having the same problem.I'd say I cannot connect to 90% of the servers.I tried using Steam and 6laucher, I tried filtering the laster beta patch (94645 or something close). The only server were I could log on sent me in the debug desert. Killed my char and retried with a new one.The new char spawned near Elektro, a connection to another server sent him right away in the debug desert again.I am now reinstalling the whole game on steam + DayZ mob, hoping this will solve my problem.Are you planing on solving the server and de debug land issue on patch 1.7.2 or later on ?Do all the player have that problem to connect or is it only a few ?Thx!
