Unconscious On Log In

Me and my brother are having the same issue in DayZ. When either of us log in we experience unconsciousness at full blood, food, water, and heat. This issue lasts generally around 5 minutes or so of sitting on the ground unable to move. This only occurs when we enter new servers, and never while playing. We have taken many painkillers, morphine, an antibiotic but nothing has stopped the problem.

Is there any fix for this issue at the moment?

I apologize if there is already a thread on this, but I could not find one. A redirection would be wonderful as well.

bump, im having this exact same problem and its really frustrating. Also, when I get dragged while in this state, I cannot move when I become conscious again.

Please someone find a solution, I can't find anything as well.

I'm getting this too It's really annoying and makes it so hard to set up runs into places if i have to disconnect to do some work around the house or go out. logging back in and being passed out for 5m minutes in the air field isn't my idea of fun

Yea this is a serious problem. Figured it may have been a glitch on forcing a re spawn ( suicide - considering the glitch started, i presume, when i forced a re-spawn when my leg was broken ), so I had someone kill me. I logged in to a fresh new character and abort and log back in, 5 minute timer.

Is there any way we can get in contact with the higher ups, namely mods or admins, because this problem seems frequent and out of hand.

Well, I searched around for some information, including trying to find an email or thread I could message. None of them I had found had any chance of a response.

Some things tried: (Unsuccessful)

Six Launcher closed before entering server ( as well as open )

Restarting the game under different circumstances ( administration rights etc... )

Fresh character as gothic described.

Different servers.

( eye witness ) - Waiting a few days doesn't work either, it will stop the problem for a day or so but will eventually arise once more at the most inconvenient of times.

There are no threads with any kind of information on the matter that I have been able to find with google. Searches by those other than myself would be appreciated. If you find anything, including a way to fix the problem, please let us know.

i have the same problem but i just make sure i have a friend log in with me at the same time so he can drag my body to safety if needed :P

Also this thread belongs in bugs/glitches part of the forums not general chat.

I apologize for that, I didn't know there was a glitches forum. Regardless, whenever I am dragged by a player i glitch and when the timer runs out, I can only turn and look around ( cant stand, cant move, cant shoot, cant look at gear, ). The only way to fix it for me is to abort again ( another 5 minutes of waiting ).

Are you guys sure you didn't log off shocked... You know that white symbol that looks like a disconnect one... because logging in unconscious is a result of logging off while in shock.

That's a feature, my guess if you guys are logging out after recently sustaining some injury of some sort. If you receive any damage, and log out within 5 or so minute, you get that 5 minutes unco. timer upon a login.

Read up man. I made a fresh character and ran around for around 20 minutes. Logged out. Logged back in. Hourglass.

There were absolutely no statuses on my previous two characters.

well the new beta patch released today seems to have fixed it for myself. i don't know about anyone else.

I have the issue and as of today (06-29, with latest updates) it's still there. Dying has fixed the bug earlier for me.

It's also worth trying to get knocked out by other reasons (zombies can 1-hit K.O you at 9k> blood) and then getting epi-penned. It could fix the issue. But it's just a guess from my part.

Edit:

It seems as the bug occurs if you log out with the shock status thing. But instead of disappearing after waking up it just keeps going at it after joining a server or something. So if you don't have the bug: Be careful about aborting with the shock status.

This is also server specific for me.

ok, did some testing; Got shocked thanks to barbed wire, logged out, then in again on the same server to wait it out, then switched servers.

Results:

Logging into other servers, fine.

Logging into server I was given the Shocked debuff on: always KO'd upon log in.

It appears that the debuff is ghosting on the character, and applying the debuff upon log in, despite having elapsed time wise.
