3 New pistols in DayZ Standalone Experimental

Recommended Posts

They're both civilian weapons and also both are used as duty weapons all over the world.  Also please don't refer to the USMC as just "some unit."

USMC's service pistol is a Beretta M9. Usually, only ."Special Forces" will be able to choose / customize their weapons, and unless you're an Officer with a certain rank you don't get to choose your sidearm either.

In reality it would take at least 10 - 15 shots to kill someone with a .22 unless you hit them directly in the head or the heart.

I find these rifles everywhere!  The magazines are another story though.

10-15 shots to an unarmored body within 50m is what you think it actually takes?

the 22 is not powerful.

it is not a very effective round.

it is currently underpowered in game.

take a single .22 to the chest (with a vest) and get back to me INTERNET RAMBOS who have never HELD a firearm

the 22 needs a buff. im sorry but clothing is not stopping a 22 round. and one shot to your leg within 200m you aint going anywhere, a shot to the head close up...these aren't "old" 22 firearms

this is modern rifling and modern ballistics

ed:

the 22 will either break apart or compress flat into flesh on entry

you're breaking bones and suffering massive tissue damage, minimum

The new Suppressed .22 sounds good and shoots nice but the Zombies still come running as if it was a regular loud gunshot.  I'm pretty disappointed right now.

And a 45 to the chest should put you on the ground, as should a 7.62x54r, neither should be survivable. Heck in a post apocalyptic world nearly any gunshot wound should eventually be fatal.

That is realism, but that is not exactly fun for most people.

I own a lot of guns internet tough guy, probably many more than you.
