Lost all my items after game crash

Well, I was playing with some mates on a server, when I got a game crash.

 

I rejoined them via steam friendslist, but when I spawned my character was like he died, I started completely new with nothing on a random spawnpoint.

 

Any idea what caused this and how to solve the problem?

You cannot solve it. You have to restart your char. It happens to everyone. Rarely it happens anymore to me though.
