So I'm a hobbyist programmer and I had an idea today:

A Day Z database of servers that worked a little like e-bay reviews.

Say I want to look for a new home server. I go on the database, browse through some servers that people reviewed, and play on those.

This would allow you to see which servers are good and which are bad, people would be able to rate/review servers anonymously.

People would abuse this mechanic. We had reputation points on this forum once upon a time. Guess why they aren't here any more.

The problem is, anyone can go anywhere at anytime. That is, I could kill 10 people from a crane in Elecktro until someone finds me. Then I simply log off and move to another server. Rinse repeat. No consequences, no danger for me. So that being said, those players (the majority) who do that will get your server rating low.
