Death By Crowbar 1213 Posted March 7, 2014 Is there any sort of meelee weapon damage ranking that exists anywhere? I've been trying to sort this out. I know that the Fire Ax and Splitting Ax are typically the best, but I've found that the Fire Extinguisher is more effective than the crowbar, which is shocking... unless it was a fluke. LaughingJack (DayZ) 767 Posted March 7, 2014 (edited) Well there is a youtube video about that zopic, but it is outdated with the newest patch (new melee animations)And you are right: Both axes and the fire extinguisher rock, everything else...meh. Especially wrench and crowbar are due to its extreme short range awful...with the new mele animations it is impossible to hit a zombie that hasn't noticed you with the crowbar...only when he attacks you, you've chance of hitting him. LaughingJack (DayZ) 767 Posted March 7, 2014 Well...only a guess: he may played "normal" and everytime he had a new weapon he headed for the gas station....and well, some houses...I have looted them so often, I could recreate the loottable i think^^But still...the knife...28 minutes *lol* But again don't relate on that: It's outdated due to the new melee animations...
