Pokerguy12 218 Posted March 13, 2014 (edited) I think a solution can be found in the post above, "investigate" seems to hold alot of potential as a game task for all players. It is absolute then, for there to be any puspose to long term survival after having toured every inch of the map and procuring a full inventory and backpack, THE SANDBOX MAP MUST NOT REMAIN STATIC. THERE HAS TO BE DYNAMIC INTERVENTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT BY PLAYERS. I don't know, base building? Burning down a forest? Digging underground tunnels? Clan camp sites? Dried up rivers? Flooding from bursting dams? Zed panic events?the thing is, the map has to change dynamically over time. Edited March 24, 2014 by Pokerguy10

Zombie hoards, over and over, would eventually get boring, unless they could actually do something worse than just kill players. If they could tear down player bases looking for survivors, THAT would be interesting, such as requiring you to corral the herd away.

funyun 15 Posted March 13, 2014 I got that idea from terraria blood moon, every month the zombie hoards will multiply A zombie horde from the mainland walking like lemmings to the water would be awesome. Better find a safe spot for the next few hours.
m4cowboy 4 Posted March 13, 2014 Thought for yas... What if you could stash loot around the map, but can't get back to your stash after you die? Maybe you're frozen out of that particular server for a few days or maybe the stash just evaporates when you die, or maybe it becomes visible to all after you die. Just a thought...
