Real Economy


Precious items at the traders will only be replaced infrequently.  We want players to loot/sell/buy into to the traders.  This will keep items rare and encourage players to look for materials instead of buying.  This is a world still recovering and thus there are no Walmarts in this world.


 


Environment is dangerous


We all know zombies are not the primary threat in Dayz.  To make the world more dangerous we’ve placed in very tough AI.  We have four types.


o   Static mission AI


o   Dynamic mission AI


o   Dynamic roaming AI


o   Roaming Armored SUVs with 4 AI passengers


These AI will flank, will use suppression as a tactic and are downright aggressive.  Most encountered will have M2 machine guns for support and some carry RPG7s to counter players running them over.


Be prepared to die more often than typical servers to the environment.  If you want a challenge with the environment our server is for you.


 


Encourage collaboration


The static mission AI is very tough.  We rotate the mission every so often to freshen things up.  The purpose of this type of mission is to make it so tough you will need help from other survivors to complete.  The reward for succeeding is really good loot.


 


Remove or alleviate Epoch quirks


Let’s face it Dayz Epoch can be a grind.  We’ve included the following features to make the game go a little easier.  The server isn’t hard core and we never intend it to be.  Most people have a finite time to play and during that time we want people to have their heart pumping.  We feel these help in making their time enjoyable.


o   Self-blood bag


o   Auto refuel/repair/reload


o   Deploy Bike


o   Domes


o   Extra Vehicles


o   No plot poles and no decay


 


Server Performance


We constantly via script cleanup locked vehicles with no keys and remove structures left over by inactive players.  These are done via script.


We are not a high population server but as the population grows we’ll throttle the AI in relation to the active player size so that performance remains high.


 


PVP


We encourage PVP because the world is dangerous.  Be smart about where you base and travel.
