Terrible FPS

Hello,

 

Arma 2, DayZ mod is driving me crazy.

I recently bought a new PC, with good specs.

Problem is once i fire up the game i mostly have 30-40 FPS (used various sites to tweak config)

But after half an hour of playtime (or less) my FPS drops to 8-25 and is very unstable and feels laggy.

 

My CPU temp is max 51C, and GPU max 58C (case has 3 extra 120MM fans to keep it extra cool).

 

Also i tried OCing my CPU to 4Ghz but this has no effect on FPS what so ever.

I updated all my drivers to the latest version, and i use windows 8.1

 

I cannot believe this game runs this bad, to compare i run battlefield 4 @ high 50-80 FPS.

The problem is AMD... The moment I switched to intel i5 my fps woes ended.
