joblair 2 Posted March 4, 2014 so i was at the big airfield, had just done a whole sweep, no trouble except a few zombies, no big deal. i'm on the far end from the control tower, about to open the last door when someone shoots at me, and missed my head by a foot. I immediately turned and ran. he shot at me again but missed. pretty sure i ran about half a mile into the woods before I stopped and logged. god i love this game. GrappleX 354 Posted March 4, 2014 A half mile is questionably short, A half mile is, what, 850-ish meters? That translates to three or four minutes of no combat. Again, its borderline. ChiefMasterKush 321 Posted March 4, 2014 it's hard to believe someone isn't server hopping/combat logging when all they "have time for" is to loot the airfield and log off everytime they play. My friend has the same problem so I know. I give him shit for it every time we talk about dayZ and I think that's why he doesn't play with me. No disrespect to the OP, but I often do log out in the AF, its fun to spawn back in and have people not realize you are in the room right next to them lol...
