The Server Hopper Protection Problem

Well today i experienced a problem which is sooo annoying.  I died because 5 guys gang-banged me near Berenzino (so far so good), im used to die, nothing to worry.

But now the annoying part:

Server restarts, i get to wait 200 seconds, ok fine.

Then my game crashes shortly after, 300 seconds again.

Same thing repeats about 4 times today...

I noticed this last night, the experimental servers were doing this weird thing where people were getting booted every few minutes.  Every time I tried to go back in I have a 3 minute wait.  I would get to play for 3 minutes, wait for 3, play for 3, wait for 3..  GRR!!!!  

 

I like the thought behind it, but there needs to (and hopefully can be) a way to distinguish between someone who timed out, and someone who manually quit to server hop.

I've never had a login timer for getting booted from a server when it restarts, even when I was only in there for 5 minutes. Not sure why some people claim they do

5 Guys gang banged you but you only disliked the server respawn time?  What about your sore butt?  Did they use KY? 

Plenty of dudes to go around is the best part of this game.  Its like prison, only out in the open.

I just tried to respawn on a server after I died, not getting past "please wait", left the server and got 300 seconds

respawn timer.. What's that all about? I was on the same server for about 40-50 minutes...

If we didn't get "gang banged" by hot dudes in this game there would be no point in playing.

Yes, as i said, dying is point of the game, even if its quite unpleasant when you just get grouped on. But the respawning and just endless waiting sucks.. :/

I love how people talk about 300 seconds like it's a long time. Have we, as a society, grown THAT impatient? I mean, really, that's 5 minutes. 5. You can't even rub one out in that amount of time. Well, I can't anyway.

I am not impatient, but when i play a game i want to play and not wait.
