how to reduce lag in dayz caused by lighting

i don't know if its already implemented but my idea to reduce lag in dayz would be to add a video setting that turns down the resolution of shadows in dayz and to also shorten the render distance

Edit: Some days I just see something and it make's my blood boil, there is options for all the thing's you described in you ingame menu under configure, the video option are kinda spread around but open every menu and you will find what your looking for and more.

also there are plenty of discussions and forums on how to edit dayz.cfg file for render distances and so forth
