bigvalco 0 Posted May 13, 2012 I know that the sandbags and wire fences aren't a huge part of the game yet, but I have noticed a few easy fixes that would make them much better than they already are.1. Make the person who placed them able to pick them back up into their inventory, because it is hard to place these things correctly and you should get a few tries to get it right.2. Make it take like 30 seconds to take down wire or sandbags, I mean the reason they are there is o keep players out of specific areas right? Well it can't accomplish that when an enemy can walk up to a large wall of wire and take one of them down with 3 seconds.3. Make sandbags more common, right now I believe there is like a .5% chance of them spawning which is way too low for something like sandbags.Just a few suggestions, thanks for reading. MR DELICIOUS 297 Posted May 13, 2012 The big problem that is being faced is that a lot of the weaponry, vehicles and equipment you need to make the game "sing" is simply too hard to find or too dangerous to acquire. After driving in every vehicle once, I find there really is very little incentive to actually bother putting another one together. It simply takes forever. Similarly, the NATO weapons are really only effective at killing other players, which means that only the most die hard PVPers bother to attain it (and lets face it, the CZ does a pretty good job anyway). The inclusion of wire and co is all good and well, but it's simply too hard and pointless to gather up that much of the stuff to build anything worthwhile, also factoring in the difficulty in placing the damn stuff. All in all, I think there really needs to be a more centralised place where the certainty for specific supplies is very high (a factory for cars and car parts etc) but the risks to get it are just as high (NWAF exists for weaponry, but that is still only one place). If people could raid a general military barracks with the certainty of getting military vehicles, weapons and obstructions, the whole barbed wire thing would be a little more tempting.Also, I'm not really sure what the hell the wire does. Land Squid 22 Posted May 13, 2012 Something else I'd like to see is hesco barriers. Essentially they are just folded up metal and cloth mesh. You open them up, set them somewhere and then fill them in with dirt/sandgravel. The game already has placeable models for small, medium and large versions, but really I'm just looking for a head height solid baricade item we can use to build effective defenses around a base camp.Oh as to american weapons not being effective against zombies: I call shenanigans. The M4 CCO SD and MP5SD are the two single more useful weapons for infiltrating the more zombie infested areas.
