dayz mod in steam is free.when it will not be free? and i dont have arma 2.but is says i can download and play dayz mod.

Really? I mean, REALLY?! Dude, the mod discussion is a few sub-forums down. You're posting on the Standalone Sub-forum.

Okay, that was douchey of me, what's on Steam is the DayZ Mod version for Arma 2. You have to buy Arma 2 then download the free mod.
