Question about downloading Day-z

Okay so a friend gave me his Arma II game, the disk version, and i was wondering if i could get away with downloading arrowhead, can i download day-z that way or do i have to still buy combined version even though i still have them both, just singly?

Are you talking about purchasing arrowhead or pirating?

If you purchase arrowhead via downloading, yeah it can work. Just use Six-launcher once you download DayZ to run the mod.

(I'd advise not to pirate OA of that's what you were considering...)

Ive got normal Arma II on disk, if i downloaded arrowhead off steam can i play Day-z

Yep! Actually all you need is OA and ArmA II Free, you'll just have lower resolutions.
