Day Z crashing in sync with group

Well, I have used the search function, looked through recent topics so if this is a repeat thread flame away!

But... I have been having a frustrating crash issue with the game. I will have to check if it happens while I'm playing alone, but while I am running with a group we ALL encounter crashes at the same time. On one occasion I was following a buddy of mine into the school of elektro, about 20 feet behind him. I see him stop moving, call out that he crashed in skype, I continue to move and crash at the same point in the map when I cross it! Very odd, doesn't always happen like this, we can be spread out in different buildings and we all crash within 5 seconds.. I get a Day Z has stopped responding error message (no audio or ability to tab back into the game)... anybody else seeing this issue?

same here playing with friends all crash same moment.  Most of the time during or right after a gun fight.
