Grass rendering on distance

Recommended Posts

I was always kind of annoyed the way that there isn't any grass rendered from distance and how you could easily spot a sniper on the top of a hill 700 meters away or somebody silhouette on a valley coming out like a rock on a pool .

I don't own any of this stuff here. I just found it after doing some searchs about it and this was the ONLY one i found.
What do you guy think of this?  I don't have any knowledge on programing or nothing I just tought this could fit on  DayZ.  This would change some aspects of combat in such a wonderful way, seriously. I'd just love to see it in the game.

Btw, it's a shame there wasn't any feedback from BI on this topic.

Thank you.

edit: And there's a bunch of related wonderful stuff on the ARMA3 feedback.

Like this one which could be a another of way of minimizing the visibility from away  http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=4635.

yes. it bugs me and my friend as it seems useless to crawl into the city cause if someone looks in your area it doesnt matter if your standing or crouching or laying down unless your wearing decent camo, then you have your backpack

I think rocket confirmed at e3 that this is something they would really like to do, however it most likely won't be making it into alpha.
