Several game issues...please help

So, i have found a tent, tried searching for some recent up to date posts about tent usage...but nothing.

I have gone to an allmost perfectly flat field, at least 75 years from anything (trees, bushes, fences, rocks)....still cant place the tent.

Keep getting the bs error saying find some flat ground and get away from objects. Am i missing something?

Also, if i alt tab, i come back in game and my gun fires. If i alt tab while hold an automatic rifle it empties the entire magazine. Why does my gun shoot for simply alt tabbing? this uses up precious ammo, and aggros players and mobs to my location.

Alt tabbing in this game does things not good for the player, it sometimes locks my player into one position only walking that way, have to rejoin server to fix it. I would recommend not alt tabbing at all , use a laptop for a map if you need to.

When you alt-tab, don't click the icon to maximize your game since it will fire your gun but use alt + tab keys instead.

It's like when you're holding a key and open Steam overlay, it 'locks' that key until you press or tap it again. (Great for auto-running long distances hehe)

Not sure about tents though, I never really used them.
