hive problems

anyone just start having trouble on servers not being able to connect to the hive, resulting in a fresh toon spawing in?  just started happening 5 minutes ago, coincided with brutal roll backs of probably 30s-1m??

 That happened to me once only so far. Luckily I'd read online what to do in such a case.

 If a geared avvy spawns as a fresh toon, do nothing--do not tap Enter, do not move. Once you do that, the game is saved and you are screwed. Just Esc and get to another server. That should reset you to where you last logged out.

 It worked for me.

Good thought but it doesn't work if you get the "Your character has been reset" message from BE.

Too true.

 

Unless you're desperate--which fresh spawns are--I would avoid that damn ship until the bugs are fixed. It's a shame 'cuz, after the construction site, the ship's a good spot to find some decent stuff. Not to mention some of the houses... but until it happens to a player, it's hard to tell which houses are glitched.
