Would this build be able to play DayZ

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am currently on a 700$ budget for a new gaming PC, This is one of the games that I will be playing the most.

I plan to run on Medium - High settings. If this build will run it what is a estimate on the average FPS? Also would anyone have any recommendations on changing a part? Thanks! http://pcpartpicker.com/p/30rpx

The cpu is too weak, the motherboard is overkill, the gpu is too old.

Go for a FX6300, a 750ti and a cheaper motherboard. You can add an aftermarket cooler later on and clock the nuts off of that chip. If you get a decent 750ti (like EVGA's FTW model) then you should get a nice roomy overclocking on that too (the Maxwell chip in the 750ti is a screamer).

Yea that should run the game, I have a GTX 660 Ti, i7 2,8GHz and I play mostly on high graphics.

Read the OP and this was pretty much exactly what I was gonna say. The FX-6300 and GTX 750Ti are about the same price and much better components. The GTX 750Ti is more powerful than the 660, never mind the 650!

If you have any more questions please use the 'Can I Run DayZ?' topic, which you can find here...
