Servers with literally no loot?

I joined two different servers today on which I both tried to raid Cherno.

But none of the buildings had any loot in it, not even tin cans or other trash.

Is this a server side bug or am I just extremely unlucky?

Was there no loot at all in the map, or just no loot in those building?

I found a hatchet and some food earlier near prigo but other than that every single building, be it cafe, supermarket, barn, firestation or even random shack was empty.

Hmm, might just be bad luck.

Just see if you are up to date on everything. (Beta patch, Day z, Arma 2, Battle eye)

I found other servers today where loot was perfectly find, but on two or three everything way empty.

I considered that maybe I desynched with the server or something so no loot showed up but there were still server messages showing up so it seems improbable.
