Newbie: Where to use the tent?

Hi,

Two questions:

1) Last night i found a tent in the supermarket in Cherno. When i walk to a open field and try to set up the tent it says something like "only on flat ground and away from objects".

I tried hundreds of spots (all at level grounds, no montains or nearby objects) but the message keeps coming back.

2) When i set up the tent and dump a lot of my inventory in it, how long will it stay alive? What happens when a server restarts?

1. Make sure nothing as innocent as a rock or bush is nearby. A tent's size is roughly 8-10 of you lying in a row.

2. Anything you store in the tent is stored infinitely unless someone takes something out or the server does indeed restart, in which case, it magically disappears along with all your storage.

Also there a max cap...

So if you put stuf in it and its already full.

You lost it !

Make sure to save every time.

I dont know the max slot...
