Connection issue

Well when i go in to  a server i can only move .I can not pull out my gun either move the items on my inventory .I press "p" to check my ping and desync and sometimes i have my  normal ping 80-100 but i desync all the time some other times it says i have 0 ping 0 desync and all the other players in the server too.I can not play the game in this way so i need some help i know its alpha but..

In any other game i play i dont have the same issues.

DayZ is causing some unusual amounts fo network traffic.

So if you have a wooden internet connection you'll be hard pressed to play it.

Supposedly, they'll optimise the network communication at some point.

 

I presume though you don't have a wooden connection.

In which case it would be best to try out a bunch of servers.

I know, it's probably a big pain in the neck because of the server-hopper-stopper-timer.

 

If you're desperate, you can look at your router configuration and see if its firewall does funky things with incoming UDP traffic.

(Mangle or re-route packets - stuff like that)

Additionally you can also check the firewall on your PC if you have one running.

Some Antivirus programs may also go and check incoming traffic, possibly slowing things down by a certain amount.

Well i think i dont have a wooden connection .But the thing is that before 3-4 days i have been playing normally and 3 days now i can not .I play many other games with normal ping.

Perhaps it's a patch related thing.

Have you tried checking out the experimental branch and see if that works better for you?

 

Or if you already use the experimental, have you checked if the current stable branchs runs better? ^^

Same Problem here, but already since one week or so...

never had problems => from one day to another unplayable... and you really can not play with this problem.

i will really try it .I am desperate atm and i will try for sure to play on experimental server
