DayZ Crash on Startup

Okay so I just installed the game about an hour and a half ago, and directly after installing, it ran, albeit at 10 fps, just long enough to create a character, then crashed. Now, I have been trying since then to restart the game, and I have tried everything short of reinstalling the game, as my drivers are up to date, no files are corrupt or missing, and my system is above minimum requirements. If anyone can come up with a reason, or any suggestions on how to fix this, as I have been looking forward to playing this game for weeks, I would very much appreciate it. 

 

Edit: It will not run in windowed mode, or out of steam, or off of the app shortcut, or with the regular program file.
