Beginner Question

Hello. I recently purchased Arma 2: CO, mainly for the DayZ mod.

I have Operation Arrowhead downloaded, and the normal Arma 2 is about halfway finished, but I paused its updating on Steam once OA finished.

I am completely sure that I installed the DayZ mod correctly. I torrented 1.7.1.5, placed it in a folder in the Operation Arrowhead game folder called Addons, which was then placed inside of a folder called @DayZ. I added the launch string in the game's preferences.

Now, I keep getting this error about a CivScope, but a thread that I saw on this forum detailed the same problem, and said that you need to run CO instead of just OA. I'm going to try that.

However, the root of my problem lies in my inability to connect to any games. It always gives me an error saying that some map file named "Chernarus" is missing, along with a few other files. I'll copy/paste the exact error here if needed.

Any suggestions?
