Admin/Server Abuse

Can somebody help me report this Server and of course the Admin of the server. I've got the ip and name.

It started when i logged in with 5 friends and 2 got instantly shot including myself. This is not that bad since you can spawn in next to somebody but what happened next was that the players that were fighting against my other friends knew where they were around every 30 seconds and came rushing at them.

Now eventually 1 of my friend logged of since it was clear that there was some admin panel abuse or something and the other guy that was still not hit got kicked from the server 3 times after trying to log in to kill the last 1 or 2 guys remaining and couldnt log in anymore because of that. Also when i as fresh spawn ran towards that place again at balota airfield with 2 other friends we got kicked all the time when we got close and after trying to get close after relogging 2 times my character got reset and i spawned at the factory on the east coast again (suicide silos/6 silos).

 

PLEASE REPORT THIS SERVER/ADMIN!!!

 

I've got a video after i was reset when i was at balota and respawned at the silos and got kicked again and again. Still need to upload it on Youtube since i dont really know how to edit it for youtube content.

Im so tired of scumbag server admins and script kiddies.     They ruin my gameplay at least 2 times a week.       A well designed game can easily stop most of the problems with Dayz.

Well at first watching the video..  We could see 40/40 server.. When you joined saw a TON of [Clan Tags].  So my first assumption was..  Oh their kicking you to make room for clan mates which i think is an ok process.

At the VERY end of your video you get kicked & it says 18/40...    That now makes me agree with you that the Admin is abusing his/her powers.

Here is a list of DayZ Standalone hosting rules as per the Devs:

• You may NOT change your servers slots
• You may NOT password your server
• Your server must contain the version number and whether it is Regular or Hardcore. ie. (Regular|Hardcore) VERSION
• Your server must NOT have a NO KILL policy
• You can NOT kick players on joining, to loot farm or to prevent other players joining
• You can kick if players are being verbally abusive or abusing ingame bugs to gain an ingame advantage.

Hicks has further clarified the following on twitter:

• Server operators MAY frequently restart their rented instances in order to keep the time at a certain point..

Failure to comply with these rules could result in a suspension of your server without a refund. 

 

Servers are caught and shut down as rapidly as can be expected. GSPs deal with them and most if not all have some sort of warning about the above. If you want to expedite the process, write the IPs down and report them to the GSPs directly. If you don't know who hosts it, report it to them all (Multiplay, Gameservers, Vilayer, Fragnet, GamingDeluxe), or find the GSP this way.

We had a fire fight with a group they killed almost all of us (2 left) and we killed almost all of them (1 or 2 left), and then WE got kicked.... thats admin abuse nomather how you look at it. Even if it was 10 clans in there. And resetting my character is also huge admin abuse. Why would you do that if there is a skirm in the picture?

Admins have the ability to kick players from servers. However the reasons need to be for abusive language or hacking/exploits.

no, im one of those admins who does things the right way, and is completely fed up with the incessant whining and complaining about abusive admins. there are hundreds and hundreds of servers out there, boy- just jump to a different server and HTFU already.

 

I havent kicked anyone in weeks, and rarely restart my server for any reason. Keep your condescending comments to yourself, troll. For every asshole admin there is, there are 20 other servers with good admins who don't act like a little bitch because they got killed. Change fucking servers and go play elsewhere instead of wasting bandwidth with more whining. The servers with asshole admins inevitably run out of traffic, and the little punks running them eventually get bored spending money on an empty server. They will go away on their own, just like a rash.

  The misinformation that gets spread about these forums by clueless players simply astounds me.

 

You'd think that every server admin plays on their server 24/7 and has nothing better to do than run their clientele off with (non-existant) SUPERADMIN POWERS! OOOhhh.  We can do what? Have one admin logged,  change the start time and kick people? Hell, at least one of the four(or is it three?) GSP's automatically restart the server on a set hourly schedule. Nothing the admin can do about it.....yet the admin gets the blame.

 

 

If you don't like a server, for goodness sake,  play somewhere else! If it needs reporting, report.  Just quit the whining.

I get blamed for resetting my server all the time. My server resets every 4hrs but at an odd interval. It's NEVER the exact same time stamp every 4hrs though. Yet it's my fault right?

You guys do have to admit that getting your character reset from douche-baggery behavior like being kicked by server admin while in a fire fight with them and then getting murdered because of the new anti- battle log timer is a hard way to find out that that server is managed by a dick and should be avoided..
